I enjoyed both although I have reread th...Hi Wanda<br /><br />I enjoyed both although I have reread the LOTR far more often, but the Magician's Nephew, Prince Caspian and the Wardrobe are all books I still enjoy. I did love the combination of all the mythical elements with snow and beavers. Even as part of my initial reading I think the visit by Santa struck me as odd and I did not remember him as giving people real weapons. We all know how dangerous giving kids BB guns can be.<br /><br />Lewis's Christian symbolism is heavy handed here and a real negative in his Out of the Silent Planet trilogy.
